Peggy Foreman, 82, died Tuesday, August 9, 2005, in a local care center.

She was born in Lake Charles and lived in Vinton before moving back to Lake Charles in 1938. She worked at Weingartens Grocery Store for many years. She was a Pink Lady at W.O. Moss Regional Hospital. She was a lifetime member of Post 2130 and a member of AARP Chapter 1900, Post 1 American Legion, 56 Seabee Battalion and Our Lady of Heaven Catholic Church.

She is survived by her sister, Della Duncan of Orange, Texas; and two grandsons, Kevin Rittenhouse and wife Deborah of Arlington, Texas, and Kim Rittenhouse of Austin, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Foreman; and her daughter, Wanda Rittenhouse.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday, August 12, from Our Lady Queen of Heaven. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Thursday and 8-9:30 a.m. Friday.
