Condolences for Bart's family, his friends, associates, and for whom anyone Bart's life may have touched in good spirt while on earth unbeknownst to us but known only by them and God. May the love and peace of Jesus Christ be with you all.

I met Bart the first day of sixth grade and he became one of my best friends. Lost track of him after our senior year as I was overseas. Found his number at some point and we talked on the phone and the internet for years. Theoretical Physics, Chemistry, Theology, Ancient History, Anthropology, Psychology, Music, Electronics, Computers, he loved them all.

Christmas 2012 Bart told me he had something in his sinus, and it wasn't like when Homer Simpson got a crayon stuck in his nose when he was a little kid. It's much worse...

We were blessed to see each other in person, for the last time, in Houston, Texas April 2013. The last hug, the last glance, thought someday there would be another.

We talked a few times this past year, but not all things in life are spoken. That is how we know our true love is never broken.

Thanks Duane for doing your part and bringing Bart into this world. It was a better place with him here. I can say that, and all that you did for him this past year and a half; If I could ask Mary which one was harder, I bet she would say bringing him in the world. I know Bart dearly missed his mother, and still loves you both.

We will understand all this when we are all together again. Until then, I will still have to deal with him always my mind, my dreams, and my heart.

We were kids when we first met. we shared a love of music and teamed together to make some great music together. Every one in that band are still friends to this day! I know it's wrong to believe we would live forever but to me we will always be those same young men. when I looked at you you were still 20 years old. That never changed ! I will think of you often Bart as you were a part of my most pleasant memories. Your Friend Always, Steven ~ Steven Thompson, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Contact Me June 14, 2014

Dear cousin Bart,
You were there for me so many times. I truly thought of you as my third brother. You taught me a lot about life & music and I'm forever greatful for that. Rest in peace now and we will meet again and rock out in Heaven. I miss you... Steve ~ Steve Warden, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma June 14, 2014 See you later.
